Access Violation 3DSIMGT

Postby Hmaia » Sun 23. Dec 2012, 01:48

After following the video tutorial for 3DSimforceGT, and I start SimGt, I am getting a message "Access Violation..", repeated several times, like a spread deck of cards.
Using Wni XP Service Pack 3, running under administrator privileges, X-Sim 3.0.07.
Anyone experienced this, and what was the fix?

I know this if you have the executable in another directory without the 3DS subdirectory.
Maybe the link you have created is wrong, start it directly out of the x-sim directory.

Thank you.
I have 3DS and the 3DSimforceGT executable in the same directory: " SimforceGT-Simulator." The link was created when X-Sim was installed.
I tried to start the executable from inside the directory with the same result. I will try to follow the tutorial step-by-step to make sure I haven't missed anything.

-> Topic moved to the plugin section.
You have to tell me your window setup, which language, which version, graphic card etc. ...
The error tells you that the 3DS datas are not found.

Re: Access Violation 3DSIMGT

I have uninstalled and reinstalled X-Sim 30.0.7b and when I try to start SimforceGt, after following the training video,
I am still getting an access violation warning. It seems that both the shortcut and the executable in the SjmforceGt folder are directing me towards the Rock-and Ride simulator, instead of Simforce. On the top of the box with the access violation warning the title refers to Rock-and Ride simulator. The message inside the box reads:
"Zugriffsverletzung bei Adresse 004A1544 in Modul "SimForceGT.exe'.
Lesen von Adresse O00OO1EO.
I am trying to work with profile creation and experimenting with the software while I am getting ready to start the build.
Thank you very much for any help to solve the issue.

Hi there,
I have not found a solution yet. I will try to download the latest version of X-Sim and see if the problem persists.
I will also try it with a different computer. I would love to be able to start working with profiles while I am getting ready to build the simulator.
If I can get it to work, I'll let you know what worked.

No luck with X-Sim 09 Beta. Crashes when Extractor is double clicked. "Entry point K32EnumProcessModules could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"

There is a answered thread about that extractor problem that was caused by vs2010 and 3.0.0.8 and up.
If you need a extractor workaround you have to pm me, else this will be fixed in 3.0.1.0
This does not include the simforce GT simulation, there is no bugtraker ticket and it will therfore not fixed.
