Ultimate MSXR 3/4DOF

Postby Riton » Sun 25. Nov 2012, 20:43

Some time ago I wrote about this project:

"" The "Ultimate MSx-R" :
Concept:
"Ultimate MSX-R".
"Baby MSX-R" to "Ultimate MSX-R"
the evolution of the project, following logic:
"Ultimate MSX-R" can be anything you want!
This new chassis concept "Ultimate MSXR" is compatible 2DOF/3DOF/4DOF/6DOF . (It may ask that instead of my current cockpit, I keep the base for the moment!).
it is possible to transform the chassis to achieve different simulators with the designs that you know:
- "DBOX design" 2/3ou 4 cylinders
- "Force Dynamics design" 3 cylinders.
- Platform "classic" pivot low 2DOF/3DOF / 6 DOF
- 2DOF/3DOF/6DOF platform with top pivot as the "Cruden" for example
- "FREX design".
- And a final design for the moment ever: superimpose two simulators, a "DBOX Design" on a mobile platform.
The chassis nearly as you can see, supports all fixtures.
There are elements to add to the transformations, most important, for a simulator as "Force Dynamics design" for example.
Adding a foot or gimbal bracket is removed.
Adding different media jacks. Example: cylinder type DBOX media or media-type or Cruden Force dynamics (even media) is screwed to the chassis.
The shape of the chassis allows attachment points for all these styles simulator, the geometry is made for all simulation. "" "

So ....
I lately started the design, plans and even the construction of this new evolution of my simulator I call "Ultimate MSXR" throw it!
The chassis of the "Baby MSX" has been designed to evolve into another type of simulator easily.
So I'll present here the construction of a possible evolution:
simulator design Force Dynamics.

I did that to my sauce, firstly because I wanted to do something different and try something else also.
There are mechanical constraints related to the type of simulator, Force Dynamics doing a job very interesting and thoughtful response to these constraints.
This n 'was not easy to do something else, but I still got to do something fun.

I always keep simple ideas, I also think the cost of course, simplicity ....

So you will find the beginning of the production:
Current work:
Design, layout ....

Hi Riton,

The force dynamics 401 is one on your favorite simulator ...
I red that on your blog...
The dream become a reallity , good luck for this project.

Best Regards

thank you! ;)
Yes, I love the Force Dynamics simulator , Force Dynamics Master!

It will ask me a lot of time and effort, and also money ...
I will move slowly in this project, the rhythm of my finances.

This model will allow me to make a minimum error and optimize this future simulator.

that sort of simulator would be good with a mechwarrior game, especially torso twist....... ;)

yes, I think it could be good!
I do not know much about these games, but I'm going to get what is being done in this area ....
It would be functional with xsim?

"Ultimate MSX mechwarrior"

If the graphics driver allows us to "hack" motion from the game, then maybe. I am waiting for the 2 mechgames to be released and then I will start looking for motion.

hello,
I have a question because I'' ve a doubt about the correct way to determine the position of the axis in the directions:
to be on my axis to position I ask for your opinion:
To direct the cockpit right, left "lateral force"
top, bottom "vertical force"
front, rear "longitudinal force"
1 or 2 ??

for this, i think its correct :
correct?
