Bass shaker with rFactor

Postby Mertensbart20 » Tue 15. May 2012, 17:14

Hello everybody,

For a schoolproject my students are going to build a racesimulator that strongly resembles this one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOzyqhhKTrY

One of the student will have install a tactile transducer (or Bass shaker), the Clark Synthesis Silver Tactile Transducer. He will test it using a filter that filters the low frequencies from the audio to drive the transducer.
But he will also have to explore the possibility to drive the transducer using the bassshaker.dll-file. But it is nog clear to me how to do this.

The game we are going to use is rFactor. Does anybody have experience using rFactor together with a bass shaker using bassshaker.dll-file. And if so can you set us on the right path?

Thanks in advance,
Bart

Hello everybody,

For anyone who has the same question, here is the answer. Frank from ricmotech (where I bought plans to build a racing-rig) was so kind to give some information that is included in the pdf below. Take a look and hopefully it is helpfull.

For any who is interested in the plans you can find them here:
