I'm a IT manager in a french university, near Paris.
I'm not personnaly doing anything with X-Sim but manage to install it on few PC in our engineering school, for students whom making electronic projects and simulators.

This is my post entry so my account is not deleted :)

I use the x-sim software so I can extract and convert data from racing sims, i.e. Rfactor 2, Raceroom and Assetto Corsa, and feed them to an instrument cluster from a Mazda RX8.

The hardware I'm using is an Arduino Uno, a Can-Bus shield and an external 12v supply for the instruments. Here ...

I've been currently working on my race build for just over a year with spending at least 7 months of fine adjustments (still lots to do).
I'm running

Windows 10 64bit
48GB ram
I7 3800K @3.60Ghz overclocked to 4.5Ghz
1TB SSD for OS + 2TB SSD for applications etc...
Nvidia Zotac 1080GTX
Might use an old 980ti to run the physics x (undecided)
Corsair Water Cooling for CPU
Waiting for delivery of Water Cooling for ...

I've been trying my hardest to figure out how to load IRacing through chrome. I've gone into the settings and I've only got a browser location of Steam and Explorer. I've also clicked on browse and tried to find the chrome.exe but I can't select it because on the bottom right where you select file type it's only got iexplorer.exe I've also tried inputting the chrome.exe path into the explorer location but it just defaults ...

I've been trying to setup my profile for the location etc... but I keep getting this:

Antispam: You can't have a profile yet. You need to post a few times first.

How many posts do I have to make before it's unlocked?
