News of x-sim

Hi.

I'm trying to build a miniture Stewart platform with Arduino UNO and 6 Futaba S9155 servos which can get its motion input from X-plane 9 or 10.

But I can not find any info how it is done(the search window doesnt work here).


Can anyone help me with some guidance?

I followed the steps in the video tutorial and other manuals provided.
I was able to download and install the software.
Here are some issues I have -

a) The extractor.exe wont run on an Win XP machine. Is the minimum needed a Win7 or Win8 PC?

b) I did install temporarily on a Win 7 machine. But Extractor would not connect to server - it would say that Ping was not detecting the server. ...

Built many generations of scale flight sims.

Well after a long hiatus from the forum here I needed to rejoin and start figuring out what I need to do to get my Frex Simcinmotion working again for Project Cars (the only sim I race currently). Shige has let us down with driver updates, and is expecting us to buy his controller setup to be able to use our Simconmotions at least for Project Cars. I'll be honest, I'm not real happy that ...

I'm still having some troubles with geometry and calculations.

Any suggestions which software to use for geometry or which
drawing

now i am trying to make profiles with x-sim software to work with the Rift DK2 and it seems to be quite hard.

I am new to the X-SIM community.

I am currently building a 2DOF SIM and also working on a customised version of Arduino firmware with ideas and code borrowed from prilad and sirnoname.

I will soon release all the designs for the sim and electronics and hopefully they will be helpful to someone.

Maybe somebody can help me.
I finished my first 2DOF simulator. But now during tests I have two issues.
First the motors do not move smoothly. They move like in small steps and this feels badly during playing games.
Is this a hardware or software issue and what to do to fix this problem?
Second. When i take a seat in the simulator it's beginning very little to shake. The motors trying to ...
