Firgelli very high speed tube actuator

Hay there,

I found these Firgelli linear actuators:

http://www.firgelliauto.com/product_inf ... cts_id=232

Did anyone tried these actuators instead of the SNC5/6?

The speed looks okay, also the stroke, but I am in doubt concerning the duty cycle.(Duty cycle 20% (2min on/8min off)

What do you guys think?

Can I sit on the seat during set initial position

Can I sit on the seat during set initial position of SCN5.
For I can set initial position of SCN5 from min to max freely if Ieave the seat empty.
But If I sit on it,I can only change the position from small value to big value, but I can't change the value from big to small(but If I leave the seat,it is ok again)
That's mean the scn5 has enough force to push the seat, but ...

What is the max load / weight ?

What is the speed you require ?

What stroke length ?

Do ...

Can I use x-sim for any RS485 compatible actuator?

Just like the subject, can I use any RS485 compatible actuators? I'm planning to take a look around for my next simulator (I promise that I will show you when it's done), but I'm really happy of x-sim software, and I was wondering if I can use it with any other actuator. Thanks.
