I have an old Rock'N'Ride motion simulator that has been setting in my basement for years (due to gameport going away).
For those that do not know the Rock'N'Ride was a pass through for a game port joystick.

What I would like to do is use this now with my Oculus quest in flying and driving games.

I'm planning to made a 2DOF motion platform. The platform and the electrics would be no problem.
But I don't know if its can communicate with my PS4 and assetto corsa competizione.
If it's possible, can someone tell me what software I need or a link on how to configure it?

If I have a gemometry of my actuators somehow figured out, can I later in any software (no idea what software to use) define the position of the pivot point of my plattform?
Can I change it in XYZ wher I want?
Because a Roll, Pitch is a combination of all axis.

From what i understood from this RacingMat's project: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=943 when i send 7f (127 in decimal) motor should turn to center position, which in potentiometer reading is about 500 right? Instead it turns it to about 700 which is weird to me.. When i send for ex. L80 (128) it turns to center position.. also when i start arduino, motors do move to center position.. Can anybody help ...

I have built a 2DOF simulator seat and only thing left is getting up and running wiper motors which i have connected with potentiometers. The thing is i used code and components from already done project, but the motors do not work right.

For example when pot value is lower than about 400-500 it just stops working what ever it is supposed to do. Also it ignores maximum value where it should stop. Altough ...

Hello XPID Users,

I have installed the latest XPID Sabertooth Firmeware with 360° option.
If the signal jumps from 360° to 0°, there is a jerk: the motor stops for about 0.5sec,
then there is a spike in the opposite direction, then the motor follows the signal normally again.

I can rule out that it is not caused by power supply, Sabertooth, Arduino, Poti, Motor/Gear,
X-Sim axis settings or game values.
