Hi. I am planning on building a 3DOF with Futuresims design, but with some modifications
I want to use it for racing sim, so i am planning a faster setup.
The max load on sim will be 150kg.
Will a 1hp 1500rpm 50:1 and 150mm between edges be enough?
I am afraid it will not be fast enough or have enough power.

Hi guys. I posted once before about my motors but now I'm ready to buy the parts and I'd like some good advice.

I have two wheelchair motors NPC-64038. These are 24 volt motors, 230 RPM, 1.6 hp. I was told the gearboxes are probably 33:1 ratio.

he says that he is using 4 wiper motors and 2dof??? how come is this??

can you place two identical wiper motors in the same axis so they share the work?
if so... can you connect bouth two motors to the same jrk??

i made my first sim, but it is kind of ... crap! jajaja, i am thinking about do it over, but this time i want something better... what would be better for race??? a seat mover "flex type2 or a joyrider or a seat mover platform type, like the one florisnke did????
