Rock n Ride Wiper Motor JRK12V12 fast fertig

Tach,

Buttkicker Gamer 2 setup - Need help

Hi

I am totally new to X-Sim. It's very overwhelming.. Could I get a step by step guide on how to make my Buttkicker resemble telemetry from Assetto Corsa and iRacing?.. I don't have any actuators or anything, only the Buttkicker Gamer 2.. I could need a step by step, because the X-Sim application throws me off in a big scale. It's so advanced..

I want my buttkicker to resemble road textures, kerbs, gear shift, ...

Oculus Rift integration with X-Sim

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone has looked into adding native support to the oculus rift with X-Sim?
The major issue with using the oculus with motion platforms is that as the platform rotates/moves, it displaces the user's head, and therefore the Oculus. This would cause the Oculus' field of view to rotate/move accordingly, losing the sense of force/motion that he platform is trying to impart.

What I envisage would be a plugin ...

Microsoft Flight Simulator X

Hello,
I am on a team of people attempting to use X-Sim to make a flight simulator and I have run into a bit of a conundrum, X-Sim does not seem capable of collecting values such as altitude, attitude, and speed. is this because I have done something incorrectly, or is it incompatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator X, and if the latter is the case, is there a way to make it compatible?
thanks in ...

Fanatec Club Sport Pedals - Load Cell Issue - Fix

I know this isn't strictly sim build related but I would have gladly paid for this information yesterday so thought it good to share.

As the proud owner of a pair of clubsport pedals I was heartbroken and dismayed to have an intermittent problem arrive with my CSP's just before a GP weekend. I did what every sim racer would do in this situation and ordered some spare parts from Fanatec before delving in and ...

compare peripheral systems

Ηello moderators
I believe that would be very useful to create a topic (or more) to compare peripherals.
(wheels ,pedals ,games ,actuators ,monitors....)
E.G. I like to start building a home simulator .What is the special characteristic for the different games that Xsim supports?
What is better for a beginner ? What if I am scheduling a professional simulator?
The same for other peripherals.
I am not familiar to forums ,maybe I must post somewhere ...

Solenoids

Anyone tried solenoids for jerky movements?

Some on mcmasters have 960 oz of push-pull force (at 1/8"). Altough you couldn't simulate full range of motion, you could simulate hard shock, strips, and braking spring compression (V8 Supercars anyone?).

Also, while turning hard, the time it takes to compress the suspension to its max deflection is quite fast. Those would be perfect, no?
