zimple-XSIM firmware uploaded

Internet of Things, meet X-SIM...

Image

zimple-XSIM is X-SIM compatible motion simulator firmware written for the very interesting Electric Imp platform.

Do we need another microcontroller platform for X-SIM? Of course! This project offers really interesting possibilities and I encourage you to take a look. It may be even more accessible than my previous Open6DOF High Speed offering.

You can read about it in zimple-XSIM's GitHub repository here: https://github.com/rodgau/zimple-XSIM

Cheers!

I understand everybody is doing their own thing, but if somebody could just PLEASE explain what hardware is required to start a project...
There are so many threads and gets confusing as one tries to makes sense out of it.
1. Solutions to extract data from the pc
2. Boards - like Arduino - (one?) mega2.5?
3. Software to run them?
4. Motors, controllers, actuators etc
It must be already a working solution within this ...

Help me extract pitch/roll values

Hello, I am using Link2fs in order to extract the pitch / roll.

What I want to do is to control 2 steppers to freely rotate a small model cockpit in roll and pitch axis.

The problem is that the pitch values are ranging form 90 to -90 ( -90 if plane climbs , 90 if plane sinks) .
However if plane is climbing at 45deg. , the pitch value is -45. If the plane ...
