Need help on buying pro controllers and drivers Need help on buying pro controllers and drivers

Hello everybody my name's Dmitry and yes, I'm Russian.
I'm a complete beginner here and I have problems with communication language, I expect your possible support with things I encountered with when I first touched upon the subject of motion simulator games.
There’re several issues at hand I’d very like to have a full answer to, so please, don't be mad on my English.
1. Where can I get the software (games) for the simulator? ...

Arduino UNO and Motor shield

So we recently started this project for school and here's what we have so far:

Arduino UNO - http://arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoBoardUno
Motor Shield - http://www.ladyada.net/make/mshield/

Can anyone be of assistance on how to get these to work with the X-Sim Extractor/Converter software, it would be much appreciated! Thanks 8)

Noise on power supply !

Hi guys !!

I am having a problem with my two power supplies (12v 16A each).

I made a 2dof simulator (SFGT) with wiper motors and tronic's AMC 1.5 and Hb 1.2, the problem is that when I turn on all the stuff, the power supplies starts to make a noise and in both motors too, but if I turn on just one power supply there is an almost inaudible noise.

The noise is higher ...

Arduino Force Feedback Driver

Hi !

I opened this thread, cuz I was posting at this viewtopic.php?f=39&t=317&start=30#p2486 and I do not want to mess up or "hijack" other threads !!!

I am doing a force feedback wheel and I am using an arduino to do the force feedback controller.

So If anyone could help me I would appreciate it !

Thanos, I really need to use the current sensor ??

If I do ...

Problem with FTISP for AMC1.6 1.1e.zip

Good morning to all, I connected my version of the AMC1.6 at simulation soft (X-sim vers. 2) and firmware resets constantly when runs the simulations. I´m using rFactor and Sender & Profiler was configured using 2 Axis.

I am using the latest firmware ---> FTISP for AMC1.6 1.1e.zip "Added 10% dead zone on end positions of POT (25/Jul/2012)"

When runs the simulations and prifiler sends data by USB to AMC positioning movement begins engines with ...

theorical cuestion?

as far as i understood, to have your sim running you need

1. control board
2. h-bridge to control motors (or actuators or etc)

control boards are a little expensive... the question is... can you replace the control board (let's say welleman or the tronic amc card) with a cheap arduino card?

could it be done? or arduino is just usless.

i ask this question because last days i have been some arduino cards and ...

Possibly the future in motion controllers?

I was looking around for modern microcontroller solutions and couldn't help noticing all these new cheap Cortex M3 development boards arising.

They are totally different from AVR family but I could give it a try for an ultra fast motion controller with 4 or more axis. In the next link this one even has 3.2 inch touch LCD screen among other connectivity addons:

Open107V ARM Cortex-M3 USB STM32F107VCT6 MCU Development Board Kit

And a cheap ...
