Since I'm a complete beginner here and I have problems with communication language, I expect your possible support with things I encountered with when I first touched upon the subject of motion simulator games.

Well after quite a bit of reading on here I've started my own platform motion sim rig.

I have decided to try and emulate Floriske's GT playseat. I will build using the same general layout for base and platform but intend to make a few slight mods. Today I went to pick up my new Mig solder machine :D and next monday the gas guy will bring the argon cylinder so I can start soldering the aluminum pipes. Most part of it is already cut and I have here the bearings for the articulations.

I am sourcing materials to construct an hibrid between seat mover and frex sim style...

so, it will only move the seat, but i would like to include in the sim place to put pedals and wheel ... so the question is... could you reccomend me an easy sistem to adjust pedals and wheel so if my wife for instanse use it, she can adjust the distance from the pedals to the seat? ...

Hi,

I discovered this awesome site about 8 months ago.
Since then I started building my own project.First I started with a 2DOF wipermotors
Then I moved to 3 DOF with added continuous rotation to simulate cornering and drifting

In this case the construction is more complicated because I had to put everything on board (PC, DC supply, Sabertooth 2x12, bass shaker, monitor)

to make a long story short ...
drove race games for several years (examples: Viper Racing, Grand Prix Legends, Live for Speed etc.)
always with my "Logitech WingMan Formula Force" wheel from 1999 - which covered dust for a decade then
drove Kart for the last several years - received a hint to a "Race07"-community ... and got addicted again!

will finally get a "Fanatec Forza Motorsport CSR wheel value pack XL" very soon
