News of Motors

Hello, i'm trying stunding about DOF simulation, and i have a knowledge all the process with DC motor...Like a driverboard to controler the dc motor, and the principal board like arduino to control the driver and the driver send pulses to motors, by the way, i dont know how work with AC motor, i'll need a driver like (driver stepper motor?) and plug in arduino?

last ear i have play a test with pololu jrk 21v3
Now i have buy 12v12 version and i do the same scheme.
pololu is recognized and the leds is green.
mi motor is ok.
when i connect it on transformer adapter it turn ok.
But.....
when i connect mi motor on pololu jrk 12v12, mi motor
don't turn.
please....
you can halp me?
Maybe is only power problem?

Looking to build my first simulator, a 3DOF balanced platform like @futuresims. Trying to determine what motors to use. Don't need to lift much, 500 lbs max but would like to move that load quickly. Lately the Teknic motors have come up a lot for their ease of use. Looking at this one:

Question is how to connect DC motor to gearbox? DC motor has smooth tube, gearbox has smooth tube docked with the edge. If I just put motor's tube onto gearbox's tube, they will not connect.

Has anyone ordered these motors with the 50:1 box? or know this information to be true in this listing? Seems ambitious to say the least. Im also really curious if these have a lot of back drive like the 25:1 (freewheel). :shock:

I started building my 2DOF a few weeks ago. I have amassed most of the parts required. Although, I'm still saving up for a Rift DK2. I noticed that through most of the 2DOF builds I've seen that the motors are usually supported by right angle flanges from HD or some other structurally questionable method. I then remembered that I was a mechanical engineer :lol:

I just picked up a few VW wiper motors (Bosch). I need to run a separate ground line and isolate the motor housing as I am using a metal frame. I find information on this difficult to find. The only tutorial I could find was in French.

Wie beschrieben suche ich Bezugsquellen wo ich gute Schrittmotoren bekommen kann die auch relativ Günstig sind.

Wie ich sehen konnte benutzen ja einige User hier ähnliche oder gleiche Motoren nur konnte ich nirgendwo deren Bezugsquelle für die Motoren entdecken. Und über ebay habe ich bisher auch nichts Brauchbares finden können.

Für Links zu diversen Anbietern wo man Schrittmotoren kaufen kann wäre ich dankbar.
