News of Pneumatics and Hydraulics

Hi!

Me and few my friends are planning todo hydraulic 6dof motion rig with x-sim3 software.

Now id love to you fellow geeks to confirm that im on a right track to get all electornics to control these hydraulic cylinders

1. PC that runs the software and x-sim3 that communicates with Velleman K8055N
2. Velleman K8055N to control cylinder valves and recieve position from cylinders(some how) or do i need Arduino between PC and Velleman ...

Iam new to this forum so be kind, I have an old rock n ride platform that is set up as a flight sim just 2DOF. The old rock n ride soft ware is pretty rough and I was wondering how hard it would be to use X Sim to run the chair? Also would I be able to inerface it with Microsoft flight sim programs.

I'm new to this forum, and it is exactly what i was looking for.

Now - i've had this idea to create a 3-piston race-simulator. I know i need 3 (rather strong) pistons, and something to control them.

If i have that, i'll be able to make the rest myself (seat, screen, frame, wheels, pedals, link to software etc.)

The problem is - i don't know where to start.

I want a 3 ...

Only choose Universal serial output as Interface and fill out like this picture (X-Sim 1.6.x screenshot, newer version does support this also):
