News of Motion simulator Finished Project Gallery

An excellent and comprehensive description of your build tayeb. After reading it I feel a bit more confident to attempt a build. I've already built a steel framed platform for my wheel, pedals, seat and monitor and I've been racing with that for years, but the method of getting it to move has always eluded me. Now I have found X-Sim and your post, it's time to step it up a notch.

ich stelle mich erstmal vor. Mein Name ist Waldemar Jost, wohne in Hannover und studiere Maschinenbau.
Desweiteren bin ich denk ich mal wie jeder hier ein Technikbegeisterter und bastel für mein Leben gern,
konstruiere gern Konzepte die ich dann realisiere oder baue gern etwas detailgetreu nach um Kosten zu ersparen,
da als Student das leben doch noch die ein oder anderen Fixkosten mitsichbringt... :lol:

Now I got all needed parts and builded a first testmodel - the geometrie was tested in catia v5 (3d simulation). It's a copy and paste of all great working sim's here in the forum "thanks everybody".



I use wipermotors of a volkswagen golf, potentiometers are connected ...

Thanks to Xsim software ;-) I have now the joy to drive my own dynamic 2DOF simulator !!
X-sim / Arduino / motomonster / 12V DC truck wiper motors

Years ago, it was really impossible to start such a project... without a software like Xsim !
But when I came back on the Internet in 2013 with this simulator project still in mind : I discovered ...

I wanted to show my first project here, it will be 2DOF with 2 big motors (from Floriske :D ) driven by 2 Pololu's 12V12 and offcourse X-Sim. :)

I'm a beginner in the sim world, so i'm very happy to see this forum with projects and people to help me ...

After finally finishing this project here's my "finished project" topic! I've reversed the update back to the original building sequence so people can read from start to end.

Hier wird gezeigt, wie der Wooden Simforce GT von WarAndPeace, meiner Wenigkeit und Ingo sowie Markus gebaut wurde. Wie man sieht, haben wir für das Gestell nur handelsübliches Holz aus dem Baumarkt verwendet. Winkel und Schrauben haben wir ebenfalls aus dem Baumarkt bezogen. Als Werkzeug diente ein Akkuschrauber, Bohrmaschine, Bügelsäge sowie eine Feile und Schmirgelpapier.
