Here you can ask general questions about sim building, not related to the various hardware sections

Here are some of the drawings
wow i love your drawings - looks really good!

I posted this pic in an other thread here too - perhaps you can use it. Unfort. it is in german language. The cg. is point "D" (Schwerpunkt)
But for sure you will have to find your own cg. like you have done is a real good method.

Here are all bodypart weights listed in kg for a 95% male:

This sim will become really good - nice work so far :!:

Good tables, yokoyoko! Thanks for sharing!

(Moderators: Why can I press the Thx button 1153 on some posts but not on all?
Possible on 2DOF separated axis outputs impossible on 3DOF Racing Simulator)

As far as I know, Sirnoname told before that he enabled this "Thanks" option only for some forums:
-Motion simulator Finished Project Gallery
-Motion simulator Projects in progress
-Controllers and Drivers Projects
-Peripheral Projects

This is one of the reasons I love this site. Members are always ready to share and encourage, Thank you yokoyoko for the table and kind remarks about the drawings, That will help in the location of the uni. BoBbuilt, thanks for the translation.
When I am done with detail design and build the rig, I plan on assembling a folder containing all drawings, assembly details and photos. If there is interest, I could post it in the forum, in hopes this might help someone else.

I have done additional work on this project.
Change to SCN5 100 mm (cost saving measure)
Use of 80/20 Inc series 1515 and 1530 extruded aluminum profiles. No welding, except for a couple components.
Not taking into account the ancillary brackets and related hardware, the profile cost came to about $560 UsD. I will have to expend around $1300 for the SCN5's and about $150 for the seat.
I will start acquiring the material, starting with the seat very soon.
I have one 24" flat screen monitor, but I am looking at a triple monitor plus Fresnel lenses installation later on.
I am including here the CAD drawings, The SCN55 mounts were changed, and I will post the detailed drawings later. I am still trying to locate the low energy rubber shock absorbers to be mounted inside the mounts.
