I don't see anything wrong with the board...

Look at this video and see if you can adjust the limits with the potentiometer placed on "pot3".

Also make sure you connect the potentiometers correctly. The order of the pins are [Wiper] - [+5v] - [Gnd] with wiper pin being close to the atmega644 chip.

Hi Thanos,
Thank you for your last remark about the connection of the potmeters,
I bought them without a datasheet, and did connect them the wrong way

As I thought the wiper was on the middle connector of the potmeter ,
but after I downloaded the datasheet it had to be connected on the first.
I know rtfm

And to my defence I`m not an electronic guy, I`m more of a mechanic

I have rewired the potmeters and they are fine ,now I can see the value change on pot 1,2 and 3 as I turn the pots.

Thanks again
Kind regards Henk

Hi ,
I'm nearly there !!!!
For now when I rotate the pots to a value greater or lower the 127 the motor is turning cw or ccw, it does the same when I'm moving my yoke from one end to the other end (Im working on a flight motion platform FSX)
But only at one speed,
I found out that the pmw is at full 10 volt no mather what angle or changing direction, also the motor is rotati g as soon as I put power on ,
Can you advise what setting I need to check to get a 0-10 volt var depending on speed of turning angle
I need 0 volt - 0 hz 5 volt- 25 hz. 10 volt -50 hz motordata 50 hz 230v 3 ph 0,75 kw

I want a max travel from 0. - 180 degre or 30 cm up and down
Full up is value 255 center 127 full down 0
Regards Henk

Until you fit the potentiometers mechanical axle (knob) on the output axle of the motors gearhead you will not have positioning, just speed control and direction change.

That's the reason we use the potentiometers to have some feedback from the motor for its current position. It seems like you have fully on (10v) as the Proportional values (KP) may be high to notice any graduate change of speed by testing it manually turning the potentiometer yourself.

There are some 180 degree sensors you can use like this one: http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?mpart=6127V1A180L.5FS&vendor=987

Hi Thanos,
I think it is a setting somewhere in the inverter,
When a change the yoke position to full right , I can see now the value or volt on the potmeter/output Amc change from 4,91 return to 1,15 volt
on the adapteur I can see 9,6 volts return to 2,3 volt(so it works) ,
if I set the potmeter back to 127 I see 0 volt ( I use sine washout)
I think its something to do with set hz, I can put it as high as 100 hz spinning like crazy.
But I have to set its omewhere to extern controll

you absolutely have to adjust your frequency correctly.
set the reference frequency to 0 Hz, the maximum frequency 100hz to start.
then we must investigate and verify all settings.
Of course you need to set the input mode coreectement and choose 0 ... 10v by external potentiometer, not 0 .... 20mA

Fsx motion platform

Postby kermit » Mon 8. Jul 2013, 06:56

Hi Thanos,
I set the setting to 100 hz , scaring the cr*p out of me  ,
as I didn`t connect the potmeter to the gearbox , the motor turned with high speed.
Also , when the motor turned to to 127 and the potmeter value 127 ,I can see the moter tries to start and turns a little bit(1 degree at a time),
at returns ( on the LCD display everything stays on 127)

Yesterday I made some setting adjustments and have normal outputs , but when I turn the yoke to the maximum angle ,
the AMC blanked and I had to reset it
I will investigate further,

Hi ,
I found out that I had to change the motor leads as the motor was running the wrong way,
Thats fix now , but I found out the motor overshoots the std value of 127 (or any given value) with about 6 (121 CCW TO 133CW)
the arm is going up and down, up and down with no stop,
when I turn the yoke the arm is going the right way ,
but as it reach its given value the arm goes again up and down trying to maintain its angle and overschoots again.
How can I ajust the value so it won`t overschoot ( I have ajust accelleration and decc on the inverter at 0,1 sec)
So it stops a given value
Also If I `m turning the yoke the motor turns alot but I want only to turm a maximum of 45degree either direction
