Who has experience with motors from China

Postby Marc1911 » Tue 19. Aug 2014, 20:21

Hi there,

Has anyone experience with buying worm gearbox motors from China? They are much cheaper then here in Europe.
I've attached the spec document from the manufacturer. Motor type would be the K47 = 0.75kW for 6DOF configuration

Hi,

Don't get Helical-bevel gearbox... It can be back-driven by the load. It will cause unwanted oscillations as well because of the nature of the AC motors.

You need Worm-Gearboxes... ;)

the most efficient gear motor is the axial gear
engine output in the output axis of the gear

Tronicgr:

Yeah~~ Fully understand :) and me too.

about half year since I got your AMC1280USB controller, and for me the past half year hard work just like hell...
Please take your time, I don't want to causing your any trouble.

And for my project, I will back to the AC motor + VFD solution now, and try to build a concept version ASAP.

Marc1911:

During my project, I will try a local brand (or even no any brand info *o*) worm gearbox, and I will giving you some picture and feedback when I get it, this weekend maybe:)

The motor and VFD are on their way *

Thank you for your help!

Yue Qi,

That would be very welcome. I'm currently orientating myself on AC worm gearbox motors for the Thanos 6DOF configuration in the Chinese market.
I think I might get them much more cheaper than here in the Netherlands. And most probably also with more precise specs for optimal 6DOF configuration.
I've attached a spec sheet with directions from the vendor what gearbox motor he could offer for me. Maybe you can have a check. Would be most appreciated :-)

I can tell you about these worm gearboxes will be fine. I have used them before on 6DOF with no problem.

Fabian did use similar ones as well:

Marc1911:

How much of it in Netherlands? could you give me the vendor info about this gearbox in China?
Maybe I can have a try about it, if it is not far from Beijing :P

Like Tronicgr said, Ian's 6DOF just using this motor and gearbox and is works pretty good.
