Postby stivheys » Sun 1. Mar 2015, 20:52

hi i am currently building my first sim and was wondering what the best way to control 2 pneumatic cylinders is? i already have an arduino 256 mega, compressor and 270mm throw cylinders am i correct in thinking i need 2 5/3 servo valves and amplifiers and is there anything more i need (besides power supply) do i need some kind of feedback?.

thanks in advance :)

hello!

Can you tell us why do you choose pneumatic?

Very few DIY simulators are pneumatic driven because there are many drawbacks:
- noise
- rather slow reactivity
- costs
2 DOF playseat : arduino, motomonster, 12V truck wiper motors
