Help with TM1638

Postby Vinicius » Thu 16. Feb 2017, 07:39

Hello Are you okay. I need some help with putting a TM1638 panel in my simulator 2 dof to monitor rpm speed and gear. Can I configure two arduino boards separately from the xconveter output setup? Is there the possibility of using the same arduino board that controls the motors to also communicate with the TM 1638 thus dispensing with a new arduino board? Thank you for your attention. thank you so much. Vinicius

Both yes, unlimited devices.
It is better to use more boards for smooth work sharing.

I'm including a TM1638 display in my simulator 2 dof. Following the steps of some posts in this forum, I was able to run both Display and Wiper Motors functions separately (I am using two arduino boards, one for each function and only one computer). When I try to make them work together, I can not even configure two "COM *" ports with different names and each "axis" with its respective configuration, binary, hexadecimal, 16 bits .. as requested in the tutorials.
Is there any material where I can research how to do it or am doing it wrong? Will they work together if I have 2 pcs one for each board? Or a card only to control both functions being programmed in the same code, with only one "COM" port configured?
Tks for your help.

Have you deactivated the User Account Control (UAC) as sugested in the "X-Sim Quick Guide"?

Yes;I deactivated UAC.

After a bit of research, I was able to create on the same arduino board using the free digital outputs.

Follow test video.
