Hi fer
I personally would of course recommend a joyrider. The feeling – especially in curves – is just phenomenal. Where I'm still not too convinced yet is acceleration and braking. There my sim is luffing too much at the moment and some mechanical changes are imperative. When I can control the luffing it will be fantastic. I drive my sim with winches and if you design the axis through the centre of gravity, there is not a lot of force needed to move it fast.

Shall we see how it looks like now? I've looked thru your pictures. Am I right it's not there?
Mine is also not beautiful and still under construction. ;)

post some pics dude, crap looking or not...doesnt matter, home built sims can move real well. Some of my builds look real nasty, but they move.
I had a friend play on a $40,000 Dbox VRX sim as his first ride, he thought that was good....until he sat and played on my "not so" professional foot motor mount sim.
He was stunned at how good it moved, like HEAPS better than the dbox unit.
We will love the look of your first sim, no matter what.
Why?
because you built it!
Post some pics and we can advise.
:D

No worries, get the first sim sorted, then use the bottom frame and put a playseat on top at a later date.

And please do not use springs to balance it Image
