No, you must write it completely new.
Only the parts of the math plugins can be converted. Interface plugins are different (mainly not supported by linux), main code is windows API.
For sure is that you get the network protocoll data that reach the converter. Maybe you can use profiles that are generated in a windows converter PC and load them without GUI. You must switch the hardware for such a idea. Most things like desktop gauges and Synaptrix can be dropped.

So if you are interested I can help with math plugins and network protocol (includes setup files). I prefere android with ethernet and USB arduino because there are more android developers which can join.

sounds interesting! we should give this a try.
if you have some references on how you see this working in Android with Arduino, share them with me and I'll start investigating (for sure I'll need the math code and network protocol code).
writing an Android app in C/C++ is no issue either (it is also running faster) and it may ease with porting the comm protocol from extractor to converter, the math algos (including processing of setup files) and accessing the Arduino (also, supporting further interfaces might work depending on their implementation from a Linux perspective - can be addressed later).

cheers!

Hey lads.

Any further development on running a rPi as the 2nd Pc for motion, im starting to get my ideas and parts together for a 2or 3DoF(2 plus traction-loss) but a 2d Pc will not be affordable for a long time.
