Arduino firmware and Unity

Postby dualin » Thu 10. Sep 2015, 17:02

Hi, I´ve a motion simulador equiped with an arduino. It´s programmed with the sirnoname firmware and works very well with all of the games that I have. But now a friend of mine wants that one demo programmed in Unity (3d and works with Oculus rift) works with mi simulator. This is a demo of a city and we want that the plataform inclines left and right and up and down (2dof). There is no interacting with the "player", the people that use the demo only can see and feel, but they don´t make any interacting with the demo.

I hope that you understand me (my english is poor) and can help me.

Thanks in advance
Best regards

Unity3D has nothing to do with simulator communication. It is also not the place where Force Feedback communication is done, there is only a wraper for this. General support for simulators is done with i.e. the live 4 speed SDK and clones like from codemaster.
If a answer is correct or did help you for a solution, please use the solve button.

Yes, I solved but without xsim. Unity can send the position of the chair and someone has programed to me a program for raspberry pi to comunicate with my plataform.
