k8055..sabertooth..wipers

I keep getting errors and the k8055 is not reconised by the x-sim converter.I am using x-sim 3.0.0.4

there is no IP address or anything in all oupput of found devices other than base shaker and i don't know where that came from.

Also when i hook the usb cable into the k8055 and computer i get this windows message

k8055 and sabertooth works with the k8055 demo but i just can't get past this point of the programming.

If there is no IP address goto the advanced lan setup and move your real LAN adapter to the first place.
In your second picture you are using the velleman demo and X-Sim at the same time.

In fact .... you made the same mistake I did at the beginning I used the Velleman K8055 demo then I opened x-sim converter but to me said interface dll not found ......

Well played around abit.The laptop i have is a Toshiba I7 with windows 7 (gaming laptop) and still having trouble.So swapped everything to the wifes computer (vista).Loaded game and x-sim 3 to it and everything worked fine.So laptop no good.Will build myself another computer and start again.Thanks for the replies to my questions.
