Simple question. Please help me :S

Hello.

My OUTPUT 1:1 is giving me correct speed values of my car but I can't read it in arduino.

What I am I supposed to Read? I can read the G but I dont know why it doesnt read integers from 0- speed of the car. The gear variable in arduino has negative values because the led is blinking.

I though I should read G000 to G255. Please help me
