Arduino can't be added to field "Select entry..."

Postby hape » Sat 8. Aug 2015, 13:05

hi @all
i'm struggeling with the following thing:
i have made a program in the Arduino so i can see the input. But unfortunately‎ i can't add the arduino to the "select entry to edit" field in the output setup/Universal Serial Output.
In the field "Enter available comport..." there is my Arduino Uno with the correct Com-Port (Arduino UNO - Device Path: \\.\COM5). If i than press "Add entry to list" nothing happens (the "Select entry to edit:" field is still without any entry).
Does anybody know whats going on?
If i start a game like Race07 i can see the input (also if i start the 3d SimforceGT i see a chair which moves in the correct manner).
so it would be nice if someone has a suggestion why i can't put the output to the comport.
thx for helping in advance

hi @all
so there must be a big mistake by me. If i take a look on the realtime Benchmark field in the vonverter there is
calculation / second: 400
math engine rounds/s: 100
USO engine outputs/s: 0
Synaptrix outputs/s: 0
So i think the converter doesn't do anything on the com5 port. But why? Is there a hidden field or a button which must be touched or anything to put in that there is an output?
Or does someone have a manual what i should put into the fields in Universal Serial Output to get a result?
thx for helping

hi @all
so i have made a test and typed in the Arduino serial monitor in the send field the characters "L00" which is after the hex to dec left actuator position to 208. So i would suggest the Arduino Code works but there is really no output from the x-sim converter (all done on 115200 baud).

in the USO field i have expiremented with every combination: L~a01~R~a02~ with 2 chars of "~" and so on and so on (as you can see now i have the string from your post inside)

here i have done nothing

if you configure program settings, converter autostart and stop on game detect.
