Converter Is Killing My CPU

I love the software, and I enjoy my racing sims much more with it. That being said, it's eating up way too much of my CPU. I have a core i5 6400, and at times it's using as much as 50%. This is killing me trying to race in VR. Even with everything set to low priority, the behavior still continues. What would be great is a setting to isolate it to the last CPU, since most games hammer the first CPU. Any ideas?
