motion simulator 3Dof wiper motor

Postby stephaned61 » Tue 4. Dec 2012, 00:09

I'm on a project to create a dynamic simulator 3DOF motor with 4 wiper motors.

The mechanical part is constructed and is operational with the Velleman software. I use a Velleman VM140 interface (K8061) and 2 sabertooth 2x12A to drive wiper motors.
With the system I have developed the 4 motors are powerful enough to run my project.

However, I have a problem to programm X-Sim.

I programmed a line of motor control that I have assigned only the vertical effect (26) in the Math Setup.
I edited my command line in the same way my old 2DOF for which I programmed 2 speeds (slow and fast).

The problem I have is that X-Sim does not have the same values on each engine which gives a non-uniform movement.

I absolutely need to get the same values on each engine for my system works because the motors must be combined or operate opposite effects depending on demand.

Anyone know where it is the problem or how to fix it.

Designers 3DOF already operational, can you bring me a solution, maybe a special plugin or I do not know what!?

Thank you all.

For the moment I have only programmed the vertical effect (26) on an axis, I cloned it and then just assigned a new analog output.

I do not have the same values on both outputs.

Here curves of the analog outputs on Output analyzer

Hi,

perhaps I understood you wrong.... You want to have the same motion (f.e. effect 26) on two axis and get different values for them?

Did you clone this axis or do you created both "manually" and entered the values after?

Best regards
yokoyoko

edit: forget my post - you were faster in adding another post ;)
Have you checked with copy/paste in the effect for both axis if the Max/Min values are really the same?

Moved to "Converter question" because it is not a project description with build informations.
It is a question and not a simulator project.

Increase the sample rate in the output setup (Buttons in the right side). I think this spikes shows you a compressed signal with some aquesition data loss.
And post your config file of the converter with a click on the profiles button.

Why they should have the same output?
Each motor power will be calculated to its need.
