Graphic plugin issue with steam games

Okay I've been patiently trying to get the graphic plugin to work for several days *..
But, I think I finally realized that this is one issue I will not be able to resolve by myself.
Maybe it is something simple and I just don't see it.

I use Windows 8 x64.
Nvidia 460gtx video cards - DX11 capable.
Using Windows Firewall & Defender - no other firewall/antivirus installed.

I refresh Windows this week thinking I might have issues with the system. So I started from the beginning.

All hardware drivers up to date.
Install all updates and latest patches for windows. VC++ dist, and directX.
Reinstall steam and games with all updated to latest patched versions.

Run extractor and converter as admin.
Convertor starts with no issue.
Extractor logs into server with no issue.
Games using developer plugins work with no issue.

Trying with NON steam games using graphic plugin has no issue. Test with Trackmania non steam demo. Graphic plugin interface in game
no issue.
Trying with Trackmania STEAM demo, doesn't work. Trackmania steam demo starts, but graphic plugin does not enable. No interface in game.

Test with STEAM version of NFS shift 1&2, Toca Race driver 3, blur, Flatout ultimate carnage, fuel. Same problem. Game starts, but
graphic plugin will NOT enable. No interface in game either. No values reading or changing.

Test with NON steam rfactor, game starts and graphic plugin interface enabled & game interface appears. works perfect.

I'm not sure if I might be doing something wrong to get a steam game working with the graphic plugin or not. I couldn't find an example anywhere for a script setup for graphic plugin.

1 thing I did notice was...

If I have the steam version manually setup without the 'steam://rungameid/#####' in parameters, 3 debug dialog boxes appear, and game will not start until you hit all 3 boxes ok. Before I hit OK, on the first debug box, the graphic plugin becomes enable (true). But after hitting the OK on the other 2 boxes, the game starts and graphic plugin is not enable again.

SOOOO, I tried starting the game missing the 'steam://rungameid/#####' in parameter, and I leave the first debug box alone. I do NOT click OK.

Then, I start the game again with desktop icon. Game starts, (test with steam demo trackmania & steam version dirt 1) Graphic plugin works!
game interface in game works too! reading data no problem.

Conclusion. Game plugin works with steam games, BUT, I have no good way to make it work right ?

I don't know if manual setup for steam game + graphic plugin is correct?

Doesn't show how to make it work with steam game. I followed directions and it works perfect for NON steam games.

I need to create a special script to set steam game + graphic plugin for it to work correctly?

X-sim latest version has a unknown bug with steam game + graphic plugin for launch?

So I finally decided to post this and ask for some feedback to see if anyone has successfully gotten a steam version of a game running with the graphic plugin and possibly with an explanation of the launch settings, or script file example. I just want to make sure I am not driving myself crazy because of something I am doing wrong.

The Gen1 graphic driver MUST start the executable. If steam start the executable this is wrong, X-Sim must start it.

Now I understand that steam games that launch by steam.exe will not work with graphic plugin driver. Fantastic! Now I will stop
pulling my hair out. :lol:

Okay so the solution was simple then. Use NON steam version to play with graphic driver. Problem solved!
Tested with NFS Shift using non steam version with success!

Will gen 2 graphic driver add support for steam games?
Should I add that as a feature request?
Is this a realistic feature request?

The gen2 does solve this.

any chance running the extractor with the graphic module for Shift2?
I've tried configuring it and that's no walk in the park. also tried 'ready made' profiles (from online DB) but they don't work either.
I'm not sure a graphic plugin can be reused, is this usually the case? I'm thinking maybe on a different PC the info for camera, position and direction may be on a different command buffer eventually?!

I try to test the graphic driver with MechWarrior online, and ist' not possible because the game start with the connection online....
its dosen't work with MechWarrior Online for the same raison i think.
the .exe don't start with Xsim

About Graphic plugin,
Operation with games that have an online mode as MechWarrior Online is it correct now?

I think trying the "Graphic plugin" with the new Titanfall games when I had moved and awarded based simulator

The current graphic driver will work with DX8/DX9. Only sometimes with higher ones.
All platforms which have overlay support must disable the overlay, then the graphic driver can work. (Has own overlay and two overlays are not working)
Gen2 driver is working with newer games but not released.
