How To Change iRacing Browser From IE to Chrome? solved with post #20459

I've tried manually editing the line where the extractor uses IE, and putting in the path on my machine to the Chrome executable, but no dice. Certain things on the iRacing site don't work properly in IE, is there any way I can change this to Chrome?

I can run the same with IE you'll just get to the login page and then open it with eighth notes, or whatever you want and it works and I do

I don't understand what you mean? What I'm saying, is that there are things on the iRacing website that simply are not working in internet explorer. But, it appears that when using the X Sim extractor it is locked to internet explorer.

also it uses IE as the default for x sim then you can use the browser that you just do not want to log in to iRacing

So if I understand you correctly, I can simply let the extractor pull up the iRacing page in IE, but don't log in. Then launch Chrome manually, and log into iRacing there and X Sim will still work as it should?

It this is what I do I can also launch iRacing sim and then x and everything works
