Hello everybody!
RBR is my favourite! Now we'd like to do it little bit more realistic with my friend.
We try but it seems to be more difficult we have thought. We have those actuators
& X-Sim things and lot of other stuff to do that. Ok, at least we try. Thumbs up.

Hello,

I'm Tamas from Hungary. I'm 35 and was getting "infected" by computers when I was a child. I'm IT engineer, with some mechanical/electric knowledge
I've started to build my cockpit for a year and the goal is a 2DOF motion simulator. I use in my cockpit real car parts, and some DIY. They're connected into a cheap gamepad.
Now, I'm learning how the x-sim software works and reacts with the motion system. I've already done the simulation on my computer: the seat in SimForceGT.exe was moving. ;) So, that's all now, I'm gonna check your posts, images, etc. and ask you if I'm stuck.
Thanks for all your work on this great hobby!

I've uploaded a collection of images of this DIY cockpit:

And here's a video also:

Hi Tamas and welcome!
I really like your hardware! What a nice job! The steeringwheel and the shifter make a very stable impression in the video, probably even better than some equipment one can buy.
It would be nice to see some of your parts in a specific thread, where you explain how you built and connected them.
Enjoy your stay here :)

Hello all,

I used to be on the old x sim forum 4-5 years ago, but had to take a break. Now I was thinking of getting back into it and everything seems to have changed? Could somebody explain what is going on? Can we still use the x-sim software?

Hey, thanks, i recognize some people :)

Everything is apart right now but if the software is still usable I am starting to put it all together again.
