Hello from Portland, Oregon.

New to the forum, interested on motion racing simulators. I am at the very beginning, and it seems this is the right place to be.

Hello,
Scott from Brisbane Australia, Love rFactor and have been working over past couple of weeks to build my first 2dof wiper sim, have gone down the Polulu path and have just started to play with X-Sim 3. Starting with wiper motors but once understand software wish to upgrade to heavier duty worm gear motors.
Amazing software, amazing fun. So much to do, here is what I have so far;
Frame and electrical sorted and ready for testing, I think my axis (balance) is to far forward and may have to come back.
Great to see people willingly offering assistance and sharing the knowledge and credit to those behind this site. Such a fair setup as well.
Excellent.
Hope to post some pics of my build shortley....and Merry Christmas

Hello Everyone,

Name is J.J., I'm from South Africa, mostly playing Forza4 with my Fanatec GT2 / Elite Pedals on a static rig.

Hoping to expand my horizons and have come here to learn more. Best wishes for 2013.

Cheers!

Hi
What a great site :D . Started racing on Project Cars last year and was then hooked in to sim racing. Found this site and was amazed at what everyone was building.
I am now determined to build my own simulator and have started ordering all of the electronics.
Hope to start up my own post soon once I decide exactly the direction I will go but looking like a 2DOF platform is looking Favorite.

All the best to everyone and their projects

Trevor
