Hallo all,
Very good forum with excellent information, thanks!
I'm on the way to build my own simulator and have a test version of 2DOF ready for connecting to X-Sim and testing.
regards

Hello there, I`m new to using X-sim. Have installed before but just got something to work *

After some research i was able to get data from GTR2 game and send via serial to an hardware dash. It was kind difficult to understand all the options in the sim, but i think i`m getting it *
I`m doing an arduino dash for a college project, and as I will presentate it, would be very nice to have an "offline" options to guarantee it will work as expected.

Also, I`m interfacing with a LCD for Speed and Gear, and a servo for RPM, but am finding some troubles with the servo. The one I have(9g sg90 TowerPro) seems to be very unstable. It also got too hot and suddenly get locked and stopped working. So if you can share your experience with servos(brands, delay timings used) i will appreciate.

I would like to ask if you can get some more data from the GTR2 sim, like the Headligths(if ist ON or OFF, tho switch the LCD backligth accordinly) and Brake Light. I have already mapped those memory with artmoney, so if you need the address its done.

Another thing i`m very interested to learn is about the ODB protocoll. As it seems it is used to comunicate with regular car dashes, so i`m curious about compatibilities and if its hard to implement, as it seems to be a much more flawless motion than servos, do less noise(i expected), and may cost less in some cases.

I have experience with programing microcontrollers(mostly PICs, C and assembler), but not too good with Object Oriented Programming.
Also its nice to mentions i`m in to simulators from some time, having competed in some virtual leagues here in Brasil(with S ! :]).

Sorry for my english, i try my best.

Thanks anyway.
Leoloq
