Hey everyone! So glad to have found this online community. I get a little overwhelmed with projects that I see here. I need a lot of help upgrading my Joyrider I built couple of years ago. I got a little tired and lost interest playing my flight sim since it didn't have motors to it. Using your body weight for motion is not as fun as what I see here. Friends and family laugh when they see me rock my body in all axis and sometimes gives me pain in my back and neck. I stumbled on Thanos' AVR Controller V1.6 USB. I got so excited that I made my own PCB board from his instructions. Next up, order the parts and solder away. I don't even know what to do next after I assembled these components. I told myself just go for it and learn as I go. I even ordered circuit boards from a guy from New Zealand his extra AVR V1.5 designed by TronicGR. I bought it just as backup project to learn from.

I have never heard of H-bridges and AVR controllers before nor Arduino stuff but I am so motivated and started reading every night. I have a goal to have a working Joyrider Motion Sim by the end of this year. My PVC Joyrider frame calls my name everyday. Cheers all and hope to get support here as I tackle my project.

Bonjour à tous.
Je suis français et je suis depuis toujours un passionné de simulation automobile.
J'ai construit un simulateur 2DOF en structure métallique avec écran embarqué.
Merci pour ce site passionnant et utile.

Hello Sim racers!

My name is Nori from Japan.
I am glad to find such an interesting site and community!

I love WRC and rally racing, and I started building a non-motion sim rig last year.
I would really like to make it into a wiper-motor motion rig this year, with the help of this
great community! I expect to post pictures when I have managed to get the parts together.

Hoping to have some fun here ! :)

Ya will be simming in motion in no time at all.

Thanks BobBuilt, We are going to build a RC servo simulator first to teach ourselves how things work.
