Hi X-Simmer's.
I was very interested in X-Sim many years ago when it was first "born" but because of lack of time I was unable to the start of building. I am now somewhat retired and plan to begin a build. As time goes on, technology increases exponentially, which is great for people like us. The last 20 years of my life I spent as a field service technician installing and repairing very large industrial woodworking CNC machining centers. Before that I was a maintenance manager of a crew of 18 where a main function of mine was to design and build automation equipment for our industry. In 1987 I acquired my private pilots license and continued until I reached multi-engine IFR rating. I am looking forward to begin with the Sim world.

I'm writing this short hello so I won't get kicked out from the forum. I'm interested in trying out something relatively simple like making a G-seat with only the back flaps and then if I succeed to get that finished (I'm likely to not) then do the butt flaps or a 2dof seat mover using wiper motors.
