Hello X-sim world !

I live in Belgium, and I created my first 2DOF using wiper motors, sabertooth and VM140 (K8061). I know it's a very common simulator, but I'm very proud of it  !
This software is very amazing, thanks to Sirnoname and of course this very active community !

Hello, more or less three weeks ago I made a gift(donation) to be able to use outstanding Xsim but since I have never received the code allowing it me I would have wanted to know how to obtain him(it) finally! Thank you

hello all,
brand new user here - 44 yrs old - UK. Complete noob with no mechanical / electronics / sim experience and looking to learn to see if it is possible to eventually build something. I have absolutely no expectations at this point but am very interested in learning. Apologies in advance for stupid questions (I will read through things before asking though) :D

Hello all, 28yr Canadian here, this place looks like a great community with a lot of helpful and knowledgeable people, It's great to see an open source project like this in such a niche market. I hope to get some insight and tips building a rig of my own but at the same time a little awestruck with the quality that others are putting out.

Ahoy.

Hello All,

I am Alok from Bangalore, India.

I had a stationary racing seat which I have converted to a motion simulator using electric motors and x-sim software. It was working quite well with rFactor but not quite so well with F1 2012.

But anyway, I will add some pictures and videos soon. And I hope to put up a detailed project page soon.

Thanks X-Simers !!

Alok

Hello Inferno !

Warm welcome !
With all the equipment you managed to gather, you're close to the success ;)

Be cautious :
You will have first to test the correct wiring of your pot and motors before any attempt with Xsim !
Once the reverse and forward motors way will be correct, you will attache the pot on the motor
and then send tests via Arduino's serial monitor : finding min and max for your hardware configuration
and only after that running Xsim !

You'll find detailed explanation in my tutorial post here : http://www.x-sim.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=943

Hello all, new on here from Perth, Australia. Planning a few different ideas, so hopefully something decent will come out of it. To be perfectly honest, I prefer to spend my time tinkering with hardware and bits than I enjoy playing computer games, so really I'm on here for information, to meet like-minded people with similar interests and to basically further any understanding that I can. I never was very good in class rooms...
