One Hello from Switzerland
This is just an short hello from my site and im ready very intensivly now this forum for about 2 Days
Before that i did not know anything about motion rig of course i've heard about it and what i heard was wow is that expensive.
Because of this fact and that im starting to build an dyi direct driven Wheel, i thought that it must be possible to build an motion rig in an less expensive way.
This is why i found your webpage.
i will stell read now the forum until i will ask you some questions if you allow.
Im moste interessted in the 2DoF or 3DoF, the 6DOF is to big and to expensive for me.
in this matter have an great da and an exellent start into the new week.

Cheers

Hello RacingMat
The Project that i will follow is an German DYI page "opensimwheel" (that is the second link in your post) and i could allready test the wheel from an member of this mentioned forum and what i can say it is great very precise, no dead zone and a lot of force 20nm to handle. Like i mentioned i just started to set my self onto the list of ordering materials and as soon as i get the parts i will start but i w'll take my time. I will let you guys know how my progress will be.
Cheers

Hi Guys,

Marko from Sydney down under. I've decided to build a 6DOF racing sim. Never done this before but have a degree in physics so I may have a sporting chance. Anyway its just great fun work it all out and build it don't you all think?

Great to read about all your efforts too. Looking forward to your help.

Cheers,

Marko

Hello everyone!
My name is Ruslan I from the Baltic states, Estonia.
Bad that not you have a Russian language, difficult to English. :(
Very interesting projects you have here, so try yourself in the X-Sim

I am interested in 5d cinema, but here no information )))

Hi Ruslan,

There is not complete solution for 5d Cinema but if you look around in the forum you can find the parts you need and put them together:
http://www.x-sim.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=1599&start=70#p15012

Elsewhere you may find more information about the video plugin (to replay video with motion from datalogger...)

;)
