Hello to all from northern California! I am very excited to receive and ultimately give advice for motion simulation in this forum. I am very much a noob, though. So far, my 13 yr old son and I have completed the joyrider pvc gimbal and cockpit frame. Looking to motorize it on the cheap for use as a roller coaster simulator. Actuators are ridiculously expensive for my teacher's salary. Perhaps going the wiper motor route along with belts/pulleys would work. Any advice/help would be appreciated.

I have been testing my 2DOF cokpit for a long time with X-Sim and now I can enjoy it with Pcars.
My settings are 2 Pc´s, peugeot 306 wiper, Arduino with XPID, motomonster and HP power supply.
