Hi to all,

I am a New member from Australia and trying to build my own version of a 2dof Sim for use in car games mainly.

have already built frame/seat and all other parts without the need to buy much as i had it laying around the house :D

Just sorting out my motors(wiper) and control cards but having a few issues with understanding which way to connect them(without blowing stuff up).

Look forward to hopefully one day posting my own build up here very soon,

Until then,

Happy sim driving :D

Hello: Newbie here from Holland NY USA

Postby Wurlitzer28 » Fri 31. Aug 2012, 20:28

Hello from Holland NY USA.

Old dirt track driver (when I had hair) and Electrical Engineer with a lot of mechanical exp. I do a lot of assembly programming for an 8 Core true parallel processing Micro controller and would like to ply my hobby with SIM racing for a home brew motion controller with store bought Wheel and Pedal controllers.

I am hoping to find communication protocols and syntax on this site.

Up to now most of my time has been spent restoring a Wurlitzer Theater Organ in my home and converting much to MIDI using the same aforementioned microcontroller.

Welcome!

Is that happen to be a Parallax Propeller maybe??

You can create your own communication syntax using USO output from the x-sim3 profiler software. Its totally adjustable on what you need to send to your microcontroller, axis information, control commands, etc...

Right from here http://www.x-sim.de/forum//dm_eds/showcat.php?id=2
and remember , its online required in its stage 1 and 2 form. Only the supporter edition can be used offline.
For a stage 2 key, read the terms and conditions.
