My name is Vincenzo, 49 years old, sorry my English is not good, but I think writing I will learn more..

I's doing Racing Simulation about 15 years ago, starting (Formula1 2001 EA) right now I'm racing with Assetto, Race07/GTREvo, Rfactor2..

I love this Sport , I'm thinking to go next level, I don't have any experience about Motion but I starting reading about Actuators, Software, Converters Etc.. right now I feel a bit dizzy to much information.

I'm a father for a baby boy 4 months , not free time but I hope will start this project very soon

Hi All,
I'm Martin in Aus

I started building a CNC mill a few years ago, why, no reason just because I wanted to.
Now I have come across this site, I have a very good reason to complete it.
It is very close, only need to mount the 3.2kw ATC spindle and vfd for it.

I am about to move into a new house, therefore it is going to take some time to finish the mill and start on the sim, (Cant wait)
I will be doing a lot of research between now and then, there seems a wealth of information here.

Hi,

a spindle is the first step, but simulators drive spindles very fast, so you need ball beared spindles with an high angle
Done so with SCN5 actuators.
