Hi All

Just want to say hello to all.

I am currently changing my plans in building a SCN5 based simulator for a wiper motor based smaller affair.

I now have two young children a space is now an issue.

I have seen many great ideas shared on here and look forward to the challenge.

Hello! My name is Willian! I am new in sim racing and not that good at speaking english (sorry about that) but I'll try... :roll:

I live in Brasil, where almost everything is overpriced (sad but true), and because of that, I've decided to make my own cockpit and things...
I bought a logitech momo racing wheel (used), for starting point... Then, I've worked on the pedals, making them in aluminum plate and using hall sensors for tracking position, the clutch mechanism inspired by the Heusinkveld Pro pedals and curiously decided to use a 20ml syringe for the brake... yeah... and it worked realy well! lol. Ok, now i'm working on the h shifter(7+R)... I've created a mechanism to make things more simple and it feel realy realistic when changing gears. It came really cool actually. It's almost done, Just waiting the micro switches arrive to put it on and give a try!
After that I'll try to make a butt kicker and maybe modify the momo wheel for 900 degrees...
Well... that's it by now!

my name is Dirk. Some years ago I build a simple simulator using x-sim.
Nowadays my son and like to use it. Therefore I have to reinstall the software (former version was offline only).
Let's see if it will work.

Hi, I am from South Africa, 56 years old and very interested in all motorsport. Currently building a 2DOF system with wheelchair DC motors. Products are very expensive here as the courier services are unreal.

Platforms that I play are iracing and Dirt Rally. Still waiting for Kart Kraft that I think will be amazing on the 2DOF system.

Hello!

My Name is Richard, from Austria
I registered to the Forum yesterday!
Ist a great site, that I have been following for a long while.
I have limited DIY experiance, mostly woodworking and construction work.
I plan to build a DIY 6 dof within the next 5 years . (Wife, kid and work having priority)
At the moment I am still into research.
So I will post more when things are evolving
