Finishing Project

Ok my project is coming together however the one snag I am running into is can X-Sim run a stepper motor break out board? I need the control of the stepper motors feedback so I can be precise on direction. Any feed back would be great.

I have been at the project for 5yrs and this year I am finalizing it.

If anyone can point me in another direction please any info is good.
