Hi, I am developing a force feedback fishing rod. The last part is the actuator that puts resistance to emulate that there is a fish.
I have seen that in this forum there are many projects implementing force feedback, I would like to implement it in the reel.
I had thought of using some brake actuating with a servo but I have not found anything, I would like to ask for advice to implement.
What would be better a brake or a torque motor?
It is more a question of hardware would it be better to move it to other topic?
I had thought of two ways to get it one would be mounting the actuator on the reel and the other would be similar to "SimFish" where I just want to imitate the motor that would go apart from the rod. Where a motor turns a cylinder and thus pulls the fishing line, emulating the fish that pulls the line.
The doubt would be which motor could be used for that.
Thank you very much
I wanted to upload a youtube video to make it easier to see but I have not been able to.
