Hello together,

i am new to this Forum and just wanted to introduce myself and our project.

I am Stephan, 30 years old and me and my cousin are building a 3DOF simulator.

We went the pneumatic route because our simulator will be quite heavy.
To control it i want to program an Arduino UNO board in C,
as i have a lot of experience using atmel microcontroller and did a lot of embedded development the last 10 years.
So it should be quite easy.

As we want to drive a Display too we wont use a Velleman board.
Sourcecode and eeprom images can be published afterwards.

I would also like to do a plugin for x-sim, however i dont know if the sourcecode to the plugin for the uno board is available.
As it looks like it only supports two axis i would need to tweak it a bit

Are there any profiles for setups like we have available ?
Would help me to understand 3dof maths, hehe.
We will have X and Y pitch/roll and Z translation.

Great looking design, haven't seen such in a while, impressive..
Pneumatic route was pretty reasonable.

Well, nice to have you here, I'm sure that with your development experience and knowledge you can provide help to other people also.
