Project CARS 2 & Automobilista 2

Is there any chance, to have an updated plugin for Project CARS using the new data-structure as to be found here https://www.projectcarsgame.com/project-cars-2-api/

I know both games work fine with the PCars 1 plugin, but as I'm also using the SimHub program, that's using the PCars 2 Shared Mem, it would be great, to be able to use it with x-sim simultaniously.

If you can test it, no problem.
I need the exact folder where the executable is installed, the steam id of a desktop link and maybe a launcher .exe dependency.

hmm, V8 is already used but the $pcars2$ scan not.
Are you talking about patch5 stuff?

Thanks, for sure I can test it.
I guess about the patch5, but the important thing is the $pcars2$ mem-filename. Otherwise I think its the same as for the existing Pcars 1 plugin.
Ingame you can choose if you wan to use the PCars 1 or PCars 2 version of the shared memory. - and I'd need the PCars 2

For both games there are 2 .exe files (pCARS2.exe|pCARS2AVX.exe and AMS2.exe|AMS2AVX.exe) that's automatically choosen based on CPU capabilities.
On modern system the AVX version should be the standard.

Project Cars 2:
SteamID: 378860
Installation: %steamfolder%\steamapps\common\Project CARS 2\pCARS2AVX.exe

Automobilista 2: (new game using the same Engine - currenlty early access)
SteamID: 1066890
Instllation: %steamfolder%\steamapps\common\Automobilista 2\AMS2AVX.exe

please check the funktion and the autowizard detection of the games.



ps. There is a porting of X-Sim to newest VS. The result is a install party for the missing MFC redistributable, so it is not released. It seems, it cannot compile static MFC anymore.

Thanks a lot.

I just did some testing, and now I'm really confused.

Testing the new profile-version:
When using ingame Shared mem version of PCars 1, everything was fine as before
When using ingame Shared mem version of PCars 2, motion was there, but just not right.

So I switched back to the previous plugin-version (1.0.0.5), I had installed, and suddenly it's also working with PCars 2 Shared Mem, which was definetly not the case one week ago. I've tried this many times.

I'll do some more testing on another computer, but currently I just don't get it.

At least everything is working here for the moment.

Yes, you are right, the old one has already pcars2. Did not see that. It search first pcars, if not there is search pcars2.

OK, than I guess the error was on my side. Maybe I wasn't really using the latest Version before.

i use this project cars V5 plugin and it works well less than shake gear effect, i have no data on value 23.

is there a solution to this?
