Hello Prodigy
thanks for the reply and the help you're giving me, I followed your information, I understand that the effects are loaded in a list given, but I still do not have any results.
To better explain and show what are the current settings in x-sim Extractor, I uploaded a new video.

Kevin thanks for the support that you gave me, that was the step I was missing ...
I had not found written anywhere this step ... and of course I missed that setting.
The problem has been resolved.
Thank you all.!
Luca

Kevin grazie del supporto che mi hai fornito, era questo il passaggio che mi mancava…
Non avevo trovato scritto da nessuna parte questo passaggio… e ovviamente mi mancava tale impostazione.
Il problema è stato risolto.
Grazie mille a tutti.!

zecaEU01 Good morning

I have read the technical data of the engines, I saw that I max 18A and 12A and sabertooth should understand the engines under load, how many amps absorb because in theory, they can send secure the sabertooth, so my advice is to wait before buying, and that it meets another person to the post that you confirm (or not) my theory to be sure.

Ps: The wiper motors as I do not go beyond the stress 10A

Hi ,

My first 2 DOF Simulatore is here :http://www.x-sim.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=254#p1415

The configuration is bigworm motors(180W) driven with 2x12 Sabertooth + K8055.
It works perfectly with this motors.I measured the current (Amper clip)in both motors when playing and I measured peak current for each motor at 25A.
I never had problem such as cut off or something burned with this configuration.

Ok vicpopo

So based on your experience you suggest to buy engines zecaEU01?

I had read that a user with peak currents that last a few seconds over 20A crashed the sabertooth but do not question your experience ;)

Hi,

In my configuration I use a little 12 volt moto battery.I setup the sabertooth configuration according this feature.

I just have one psu 13,8 Volt ( 30 A) and a motor battery 12volt paralell.

As I often say and Thanos adviced me this first, with a little car battery you always have enough Ampere and that could be used for overload current coming from motors trough Sabertooth which has this feature.

Help with sorting hardware please!

Postby Xtech007 » Mon 11. Feb 2013, 03:26

Hi all!
Big Thanks to Mr.Kevin123.
After fighting for months with my other board just to get pots to read and H-bridge to communicate, programing and more crap, finally darn thing gave up.

But your project gave me hope!
While reading and taking notes from this post I started to sort the hardware needed to replicate the outcome.
Here is where I need some help.

the VM110 according to the Valleman website has been replaced with the VM110N.
Would this be a issue?

also will be buying the Sabertooth 2X12.
Have you tested with something bigger like the sabertooth 2X25?

Thanks in Advance!
