Hi Mat,
Can I use servo motors on your system and your code? Here is the website and photo I want to buy, but not sure it works on it. Please give me some comments. website: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a23 ... 8f48hs7125

Thanks.

Hi!

Servo motors are not the best choice for simulator: their torque decrease quickly with speed
and you need high number of poles and quick electronic for smooth movment
hence you need costly drive
... as far as I have understood on french forum

Hi Mat,
Thanks for your reply, I spent lots time to search wiper motor and now I found one use in the truck(disel 2000.cc). Could you comment me if 12V 50W (low speed 40/min. high speed 60/min.)wiper motor is enough or not. Thanks.

Sean

Hi Sean!

Their specs look standard and if it comes from a truck, it's a good point imo!

Do you have some news? :)

Great job

I built a similar system but with a Link2FS software.
Without FSX motors react according to pot change.
However wjen connected to FSX motors work contiinuesly.
I suspect that there is a difference in the definitions between the spftwares.
Are you familiar with Link2FS? I use only pitch and roll expressed as Q and are.

Thanks

Great job

Thanks Dovale! 8-)

I don't know "Link2FS software": do you have some links to share?

I built a similar system

I'm sure we all would appreciate if you share some pictures... ;)

You're welcome!

I have found the post where you describe your pb: http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/showthread.php?t=27887

I can tell you what Motomonster expects but you have to tell me what Link2FS is sending: there are too many many pages for me to dig through...
Can you find exactly what is the data format of Link2FS?

Q is pitch

R is roll f is pause (0 or 1)
here is a sample

<R+009.6
<Q+010.9<R+010.6?f0
<R+011.6
<Q+011.0<R+012.5
<Q+011.1<R+013.5
<Q+011.3<R+014.6
<Q+011.4<R+015.5
<Q+011.6<R+016.4
<Q+011.8<R+017.3
<Q+012.0<R+018.1
<Q+012.2<R+019.0
<Q+012.4<R+019.8
<Q+012.7<R+020.6
<Q+013.0<R+021.4
<Q+013.3<R+022.2
<Q+013.6<R+023.0
<Q+013.9<R+023.7
<Q+014.3<R+024.3

Ihave to learn how to load pictures and will send
hope it helps

The data format is 3 to 9 characters with a letter in the beginning
