Looking good there. I like the seat re-furbish job. You can sew better than me!

Some great progress you've made arno!

Starting to look really good. Nice work on the seat indeed.

Thanks! :)

Past weekend I found the correct place for the pivot. At this moment i'm working on the motors and lever arms, it's difficult to lock the M12 shaft in the hollow axle.

One can't have enough nuts and bolts indeed :D

Regarding the 12mm shaft: At this moment I'm just using a long m12 bolt tightened very firmly (so no pin yet) and all stays nicely in its place so far. I've made m12 tread in my arm to make shure it can't turn easilly. (as mentioned in my pm)

Re: 2DOF Wormgear Race Simulator by Arno - UPDATE P4!

Postby dearn » Tue 9. Oct 2012, 20:44

Small update :!:

I haven't found a lot of time for my sim past week(s). The motors are ready to mount at this point, but i still need to make some levers for the potentiometers.

PICS :D

M10 rod-ends and I made some small steel levers on the M12 shaft:
364365

Differs approximately 10 cm in height, must be enough...
366

Big gamble... about here
367

Bolted on the 18mm birchwood with some M8 bolts.
368 369

I still need to cut the bolts to correct size, but for now its good enough.

Grtz,
Arno
