How is 2DOF connected to your computer and do you have two computers running? I seen from one build where they use two computers to run it. Also what type of wiper motors did you use? Does it matter what brand of ATX 200watt power supply you use? In your current build what are the arms in the front by the seat and by the pedals?

Hi GearedGeek

1) I just preferred to use a computer because it is powerful enough to use x-sim games and at the same time

2) I used engine wipers of a fiat panda see that we wrote in my post;)

3) I used a standard ATX ATX PC 200 W to feed the potentiometers and the cooling fans

4) The arms are limiters of horizontal oscillation because the sim has an articulation of a ratchet and serve to limit the game to the right and left.

Hi

thanks vicpopo

It also seemed the most economical solution since the galaxy I already had bought only torque pro € 2.55 and € 2.89 meter racing ;)

hello kevin, I have a problem and I wanted to ask you a hand
I have these settings in the speed value, the screen is the spped '85% but I usually keep it at 90%, but now' with this setting engines emit vibrations even when stationary, without opening any game just start x sim-
I can not understand if it depends on the saber/k8055 or engines are now worn out, I do not know, you say that I could overcome with some changes in the settings?
Unfortunately, these vibrations are beautiful annoying

Sim Project - 2DOF K8055+Sabertooth 2x12 -Stage 2

Postby prodigy » Sun 15. Sep 2013, 17:41

I had the same small vibrations while standing still. I think it's related to potentiometers and K8055, not with the motors itself. It's like the board is too sensitive with potentiometers, the numbers are constantly moving up and down and so are the motors.

But eventually I got used to it because once you are in the game, you don't notice it that much..

Ciao gaevulk

Hello gaevulk

These vibrations to the engine feel even more profiles?
I use it dinamic speed to 100% and does not make any kind of vibration only when part of the game, however, that vibrate and normal simulates the car and motorbike. Maybe that is I put those potentiometers, precision ... the ones I had before gave me problems were too sensitive.

Try lowering Pid control and also parts 1 to go up and see what reaction they have the engines do not know what good (I never read the manual of X-SIM ) I know that if I increase the engines have most violent reactions

The gears will find them in stores carrying pulleys or servo motors steel ones mine are plastic and I have just recovered from a servo control of a 3-way valve for heating

Or search google there are sites that sell them all kinds like this http://www.specialingranaggi.com/it/index.html
