Hi,

I have a question about the electrical connection between ARDUINO UNO and MOTO MONSTER. If i choice to mont MOTO MONSTER on ARDUINO CARD can i plug all pins or just this ? Cause It's more simple to connect all pins and have all acces on the top of MOTO MONSTER to connect potentiometer for exemple...

......GND <-> GND pin
........5V <-> 5V
.....pin 4 <-> pin 4
.....pin 5 <-> pin 5
.....pin 6 <-> pin 6
.....pin 7 <-> pin 7
.....pin 8 <-> pin 8
.....pin 9 <-> pin 9

pin 13 is not needed
on the pictures, I've soldered more wires (but they are unused wire...).

1. I'm not sure the converter and extractor work to correct ?
2. My DC Motor respond especially Right side but Left side don't work because ? (Arduino+Monster motor shield)

Firstly thanks for your topic it's very useful,

I have a problem and a question also, I built a prototype and I'm testing position and movement from Arduino Serial Port, when I testing it, the motors are too fast. I use 12 V DC 55 rpm Wiper Motors.

What should I do?
How can I reduce the speed of motors?
If I drop the speed in arduino program, will the speed decrease while playing with xsim?

Your motors specifications look good and not too fast. personnaly, I would advice 70rpm

You could reduce the speed in the code but, in fact, under load, the speed will significantly decrease. Don't bother about this
